Removing HU

Silly question and I think I already know the answer but,

How do you remove the standard renault CD HU from the 172s there are 4 holes which I guess you slide some sort of tool into and then pull it out, I am lacking such tool though.

Can it be removed without the tool or do I have to go see Renault.

Get yourself a wire coat hanger and cut 2 sections from it. Bend them in to u shapes and slot the ends in the holes. Ta-daa.

Or you can get the tools from Halfords for not very much. They are just two u-shaped bits of metal.

I like the coathanger idea.. sounds cheap (unless I loose an eye).

Tis cheap. The only reason I bought the ones from halfords was because Id lost the previous home made jobbies, and had no metal coathangers left.
