Removing Interior Carptet

how do i go about removing the interior carpet on the floor in the car.... i have a mk1 clio and the previous owner installed a head unit and speakers but the speaker wire runs along the top of the carpet and i want it to run underneath and was jsut wandering whether any of you could tell me how i get it up so i can put the wire underneath

Can you not just take the side bits of plastic trim off and run the wire down the side ?? if not then to take the carpet out you need to take the seats out and the centre console iirc

yeah i will try that and let u no coz thats wat i was thinkin of taking them off

yep thats what i did ran the power cable from the battery to the amp through the plastic bits down the side of the car

yeah ok that sounds good all i wanna hide is the speaker wire from head unit to the 6x9s thats all but it will be the sub soon
