you cant scratch glass with a stanley blade even if you tried, trust me, im a professional

get hold of some thinners that will work if you rub hard then use the blade while its wet it will slide of

thinners wont damage the paint or plastics and rubbers so its ok to use im always cleaning panels with it

haz, why you so scared of using a blade? trust me, i wouldnt give out any bad advice. if theres ever been overspray on glass from cars that have just been painted we get it off with a blade.
thinners makes a mess and can damage the rubbers (unlikely on the windscreen as its the scuttle)
but definatly, 100%, just use a stanley blade flat. i promise you, you wont damage the glass, itll probably make it look better and youll end up doing the entire screen

to put your mind to rest.
when repairing stone chips on windscreens, you drill into the window with a diamond ended drill bit until you reach the plastic centre.
you then inject into that a residue and hardener and it overflows onto the glass. this is dryed and then scraped off (just like laquer) with a stanley blade back n forth until the chip is no longer visible

dont worry bud.
Go into focus and ask for a glass paint scraper, these are used to remove gloss paint from glass when you paint the frames on your house.
ITs a holder with a FLAT blade if you dont trust yourself, lol.

yes but just ask for the blades it will be cheaper and you wont waste that much money
