Removing old brake discs?

  clio 182 FF silver
Anyone got any tricks to remove old brake discs? I've been hitting it all night with a sledge hammer and it's just laughing at me.
(I have removed the screws!)

Sledge hammer???

I removed two back ones tonight with by tapping it with the end of my ratchet! lol.

Not that that helps, but I thought i'd share it. ;)

I remember my rears being a pain, just kept rotating and tapping them, eventually came off.

Yes I have worked up to a sledge hammer and worried about doing some damage - can not get much of a swing but still not budging. A caliper has been sticking so may have got pretty hot. I have been using penetrating fluid and have put more on tonight.
