Removing original head unit from172

Is it easy to remove the original head unit, any suggestions or will it be better for a shop to do it?

It is really easy. You need a set of radios removers- Can get these from halfords for about £2. These push into the two holes at either side of the radio and it slots out. (The CD player is used throught the range.

1.Take one coat hanger.
2.Cut on either side by the hook
3.Cut the wire so there you form two u shaped bits
4. Stick em in the holes and pull out the head unit.

OR
Go to halfords and get the proper remover
