Removing rear door cards

As above need to check out the wiring to the rear speakers so how do I remove them on a 172 cup

you dont need to remove them to access the speakers... just pull the speaker grill off. its just clicked on.

Ive done that, but fearing the worst with the wiring so want to check out whats going on behing the cards

ahh ok, you need to undo the bolt attaching the rear seatbelt which is at the bottom corner of rear door card.. you also have to undo the torx bolt which holds on the front seatbelt metal thing by the floor.. think the torx is size 40 bit. From memory I think after that it should just lift up and off though there could be something else holding it on...

Is this the same for the front speakers on the cup? ie can you just unclip the grill to access them, or is that a 'door card off' job?

just unclip the grip, theres a lift grove, i usually just put a key or a screwdriver in there and lift off.
