Removing rear mk1 window

Car  Mk1 Maxim Sport
does anyone know how to remove the rear windscreen of a mrk1 as i want to tint it and cant be doing with the hassal of doing it while its still in so i wanna get it out. any1 know how?? cheers folks,.

flat headed screwdriver, gently start to prise the rubber (from the inside of the tailgate) like up and back over the actual metal of the tailgate.

its hard to get it started n the corners can be tough.

dont get pushing the glass either while your inside the boot or you'll smash the glass, do it all the way around, folding the rubber over the lip and then when you get to the top corners you can slide the window downwards.

to put the glass back in your gonna need a big piece of string and a friend.

you wrap the string all the way around the inside of the rubber (while its on the window)

you then place the window over the tailgate and you pull the string from the inside. basically as you pull the string it pulls the rubber back over the lip of the tailgate and into place. just ask yuour friend on the outside or you on the outside to pull the string slowly and evenly all the way round while you whack the window from the outside into place.
