Removing standard airbox 172 mk2

How many bolts are there?

There are two star drive screw. One at the front and then one at the back. Remove the elbow first as this makes it easier to get it out.

Piece of p!ss to remove...

Firstly remove the 90 inlet hose to allow more access, then there are just two 10mm bolts that hold the airbox in place, next unclip the side air feed hose (in front of battery), but there is another air feed underneath thats trickier to get at, but a bit of waggling will help.

Then just pull it out, but it wont come straight up, you kinda need to twist it out and youll see what I mean when you do it.

when i fitted my hillpower kit i left the original cold air feed (that goes down towards the front wheel arch)in place as well as fitting the air feed supplied with the kit.
