if it was me i'd TIG them up, flat them down, primer them, and respray the strut tops, but thats a long winded process!

I dont want them to rust, could I just use filler and touch up pen, surely even I could do that ?

na, because the filler will just fall out

i'd suggest silicone selant and put the bolts back in

Nah dont really want to put the bolts in tbh I will take it to a bodyshop if the best option is what you suggested above.. cheers

Buy some plastic lugs to slip in the holes. Hamerite the edge of the holes before you do it to prevent rust.

If the shafts of the lugs are too narrow for the holes but the head is bigger than the hole use some silicon sealant to stick them down.

My option would have cost you about £3.

I sprayed them with wax to seal them off, and that's it.

They never rusted.

Bit off subject but, which body shop do you go to Maz?? Would like to my car colour coded eventually so just wondering where you would recommend.

Erm not decided yet, I usually use one in Warrington but they pissed me off last time so not sure if I would use them again ..the changer has been sold as I decided not to fit it to the car after all lol .. WOMEN eh !!

i'd just bang the self tappers or bolts back in, half the peeps loooking at the car wont even tell if they are supposed to be there or not......

how big is the hole, simply put some rubber grommets in the holes, painting the metal before you do to stop it rusting

For the effort in filling in the holes etc , you may as well leave the strut brace on , selling one 2nd hand wont get more than 50 quid . But then you got the heartache of sorting the holes out :dapprove:
