removing stubborn wiper arms

Are there any tricks to removing stubborn wiper arms from my 1999 clio? I have removed the nuts but the arms seem extremely immobile still. There dosen't seem to be anything to lever off either.

that is a speical tool for that which i found out after a sawed mine off

its a clip they use to clamp the wiper and it cums off like nothing

not sure wats it call tho

I used a "nut splitter" sounds painful I know. You could also try a small bearing puller, I couldnt move mine by hand either.

Theres a tool Ele 1294/01 think you can buy them

Have you tried soaking it in WD40/duck oil for a few hours? Might loosen it up a bit
