Removing the CAT

Hi is there a exact way to remove the CAT/DE-CAT ? ? (172 mk2)

I need to take my Supersprint off and fit the OEM zorst back on but i took it to a garage today and they said that the couldnt get it off.

Is there a way of doing it when the Manifold is hot or does it have to be cold???

had to hacksaw through bolts in the past to remove exhaust components

I did mine with the help of my 10 year old, it is a bit fiddley but not to bad!! Needs to be cold.

the cat to manifold bolts are a bit tricky to get on but not to bad. exhaust needs to be cold as the cat gets very hot and you need to get your hands in there.
