removing the ceramic filter off the cat ?

removing the ceramic filter off of the cat ?

removing the ceramic inner filter off of the cat ?

Has anybody tried it before? Is it a good idea to take out all the restrictive material inside then use it just like a decat pipe?

Thanks for the answers?

Heard of this being done before but not on the Clio.

TBH decat pipes are so cheap it hardly seems worth it.

you are absolutely right but not in my place, supersprint decat, 400 euro in Turkey.

Have you heard of any rattling problems after?

another quick question, I've heard of the inlet manifold matching problem, how about the 182's inlet manifold, will it be a direct replacement for a 172?

Surely the cat is still worth more than the decat? Can you not get someone like K-tec to ship one to you?

if you take the lot out, there shouldn't be any rattling..

Can cause cat casing to resonate, if you need to visually have a cat for any emmisions test, breakup and remove the core and weld a pipe through to stop it resonating
