Removing the Fuse Boxes

How do you do it?

Mine is full of grit and need to give it a proper clean but I can't seem to get them out?

Its a mk2 ph2 btw.

There are 3 lots of them on the left handside of the battery?

The bits the fuses plug into are full of grit and water desposits - how do I remove them from the wires from the block?
