Removing tints?

Whats the best way to remove tints?

Products etc.

Id say heat them to peel them off then remove the residue with tardis.

Ive got some if you're short

I've got a heat gun just abit vary of using it close to headliner and window seals really.

I've seen varnish remover anyone tried it?

I can't see it being a problem if you keep moving it and keep it on a low heat.

Varnish remover as in nitromors/paint stripper?!

Yeah something along those lines. I can get nitromors from work but I think that's a little extreme.

Ill look into the heat gun method

A quick google shows a hairdryer, ill use my heatgun on a low setting like you said.

I think ive got some tardis laying round somewhere, if not ill be intouch

A heat gun and meths to clean off the remaining goo is what I used. Worked a treat.

I've seen people steam them off before, just looks a little messy. I'd use a heat gun and hope most of the glue comes off too. Any glue left behind is a solvent job, tardis would rip through it! Good stuff. Use a razor blade to scrape if you're feeling cocky

wallpaper steamer with square pad removed. heat gently with pipe from one corner. LEAVES NO RESIDUE!

Well I went to give it a go today get the heat gun out the van get all set up.

Only left my transformer in work, stupid 110v heat gun! It'll have to wait untill next weekend now.
