Removing Vinyl Wrap

  Chav Rocket
Hi Guys

I just bought a car that is in tidy nick but it has some carbon fibre wrap that im not a big fan of.

Its on:
Roof
Spoiler
bonnet vent
Door pillars

Whats the best and safest way to remove it without damaging the paint? And then i assume something like tardis to remove the residue?

I was thinking to heat it up and pull off by hand?

Thanks in advance

Jonni

  Whichever has fuel
Heat it up with either a hair dryer or a steam wallpaper stripper, peel it off with your fingers, then clean the area with petrol/thinners/tardis.

Make sure you polish the area afterwards as the chemicals in the solvents will strip the paint of anything and everything.

I used to de-sticker vans for a living.

What a fcuking dreadful job that was.
