Removing washer bottle.

  LY R26 #288
I picked up my 182 today, and love it to bits!.

However it seems to have the common washer jet fault!. Nothing coming out of the rear jet or the headlight washers. And only a dribble coming out of the windscreen washers, however I can hear the motors working and there doesnt appear to be any leaks.

I'm gonna try the fix thats in the guides section about cutting down the rubber inside the valve.

How do I remove the wipers, plastic panel and washer bottle please?.

Just so I know what to expect.

yeah i had the same problom mate...

you have to re-move the passenger side wiper arm then unclipe the plastic panel ther you will see the washer bottle with the motor.

wipers are quite difficult to take off as they get stuck, depends on the car tho

thanks for the info, i'll give it a shot, i think the headlight washers are working, so its just the front and back that aren't

Well it was a b**ch to get to, because i didnt remove the bottle or the linkage. But I managed to do it and both motors work lovely now that I trimmed that rubber piston in the pump. Just got to sort out the leak now, which seems to be dripping from the front corner of the front bumper near the wheel arch. Im guessing this is a bumper off job?.
