removing wipers

ive located the source of my leak,,, but i need to get the wipers off, ive taken the nuts off but ill be dammed if i can get the wipers off

They will be stuck on like a mofo.

You need a wiper puller to help break the seal. When i did my rear wiper had to use one as it wasnt gonna move otherwise!

if you can lever it off in some way you could try that but it will take some doing.
Maybe a few cloths around it and use a large screwdriver?

pull the arm back as if you were changing the wipers, then lever side to side gently. should loosen up reasonably easily

By lever side to side, do you mean "pry out with screwdriver"?

To remove my rear wipe i had to get the 4" grinder out of the shed to help

WD40 and a wee bit of excess force they will come off

Buy a wipper puller from machine mart - then it's an easy job - only 5 quid or so

I have a winder wiper removal tool, which does it's job really well Laura..You can lend it if you pm me, or buy one yourself it was only a couple of quid!
