Renault factory speakers???

Hi i was wondering about replacing my speakers so i took one out to check the wires and on the back they say blaupunkt. Are these factory fitted speakers because they seem really good so im not sure whether to replace them? the car is a 1999 v reg mk2 ph1 alize. thanks a lot

Mine were Blaupunkt in my 172 , factory fit . Haven't got a clue what's in my 182 .

2004 Mk2 Ph2 dynamique, speakers in mine are Blaupunkt as standard. Replaced the rears with JBL speakers as people said clio speakers aren't all they could be, the difference is minimal imo.

People complain but i've acctually been really happy with the standard Blaupunkt components in the front. Depends how much of an audiophile you are i guess.

If your gunna replace them go for some higher range stuff, the JBL's are nothing special and were just a reasonable price, some top line speakers may make a bigger difference?

New headunit may be a better use of the money.

I know the 172 cup speakers are differentto the 172FF speakers , they feel alot lighter and didn't have any name on them .

yeh my cars only a 1.4 alize so maybe renault used different speakers for the sport models to save weight. i think my speakers are quite good as i have a good aftermarket headunit 4x52w but the problem that annoys me is when i turn it up loud they distort just before max volume. i have just bought a small sub and an amplifier for bass so i can turn the bass down on the door speakers. and i think this has helped a lot to reduce the distortion.

Alpine do direct replacement speakers front and rear including tweeters. Mine took about 30 minutes to replace all of them.
