Had my clio 21 months and want to get out of the finance now! Do i ring them and ask for a settlement figure and once paid i can sell the car?

Also will i get charged a lot more to end the agreement early?

what did it say in the agreement , if i pay my loan off early it costs me __% of the amount left

Not necessarly but expect the settlement figure to be more than you can sell the car on for

You will need to pay Renault for the car before you can sell it realy.

I sold mine before sorting the finance. A bit silly, but I had no other way of paying it off.
As soon as i got the cash, i sent a cheque to renault the same day.

p/ex the car and demand them to pay off your finance before youll buy a car off them, if this is possible that is

Ive settled early twice.

Selling the car with finance remaining is illegal i think.

My last Clio, the settlement figure was what the car was worth, so in effect id rented the car for 20 months.

You may save money if you pay the car off early, as you wont be paying the remaining interest that you would have paid if you continued paying until full term.

part ex and get dealer/trader to pay off existing finance - this is possible as got the renault dealer to pay off remainding finance on my mini
