Renault Gap insurance

when i bought my car i paid for gap insurance, where it covers me for the difference between invoice price and insurance payout.

I havent recieved any documents regarding this, only proof of purchase i have is a receipt.

so should i complain to renault?

+ anyone have their number?

I've got the 'Return To Invoice' insurance too. I got some documentation through from an insurance company (not renault) for it i think a month or so after taking delivery of the car.

Its an add on to GAP as standard GAP will only cover any shortfall between your insurance payout and any finance owing, whereas the RTI insurance means you get the full invoice amount back.

can you get cover on 2nd hand cars or only brand new ones?? i never knew about this but seems like a good thing

I bought mine when i got my 20 month old clio at renault wolverhampton.

i never got offered this when i bought the car but i do want it how do i go about getting it?

i think you need to get it within 3 months (for most companies) of buying the car. search google that should bring up something.
