Has anyone here ever managed to break a chunk off your geargox housing where the bolt goes into the mount bit????

I have spoken to lots of people and they have never heard of this... how the feck did it happen to mine then????

na happened the other night.... I was just going to see a friend.... pulled across a cross roads... put my foot down and i think the front wheels lost a little traction then BANG..... gear stick come right back and i couldnt get it in any other gears.... called the AA and he said thats fecked

Reno gearboxs are made of recycled aluminium take-away cartons.

Mine was replaced after 650 miles!!!! and that was when I noticed that the whole of the underside of the car was wet with G/B oil, so was f**ked from day 1.

Hope its still under warranty.

Yeah its a 2002 1.2 16v...... well under warrenty thank feck....
