Renault / RenaultSport

Is RenaultSport at a different factory to Renault?

Like, are 172s made at a different factory than a Dynamique?

Was it like this when the 16v/Williams was made too?

Thanks.

I think this is correct.
Someone told me that all 172s/Cups/V6s are made at a different factory to the rest of the clios.

Ye there was a whole bunch of photos of the factory with them building 172 and racing white racing clios that were all stripped out (Cup racers ?)

How come the second white one back, hasnt got black lights? Is there a white 172 available in France?

Also, according to a French brochure I picked up in France last summer, it used to be the case that only the Cups/Jean Ragnottis and the V6s were built in Dieppe, but now the 182 would be. It implied the standard 2l Sport was built in the main factory. If I can find it, Ill scan it and post it.

nope thats only a transparant cover (you have them in ALL colours you like), the second white one is also a racer, look at the brake-coolers.

Was it like this when the 16v/Williams was made? Or was it all in the main Renault factory then?

Jon, the above pic is about 3 years old and is the Dieppe factory, the 172s have always been built there!
