Renault Security Number?

I need my Car to be re-programed so that it starts up as its something do to with the key/uch/ecu/decoder - not registering with the Engine.

Now Ian smee a auto-electrician has said he has scanners that can re-program the car to get it up and running, but needs the Security code for the car the Ecu came out of, iv pm'd the guy about the vin so should get it tonight.

But.. will renault give me the code without proof of v5 etc? or do i need them :S

Your more then likely need 2 show them the v5

Well my car is a 2002, the engine is 2002, but not sure of the ECU etc yet, im just waitin for a Pm about them..
