Following on from the previous thread about the potential of a larger scale centralised RenaultSport meet, i have been in contact with The Motor Heritage Centre near Warwick to see about using there extremely large Car Park and Facilities, including Reduced entry into there MotorMuseum.
its free to park, mill around and use the space, £7 to get into the museum if you mention your with the RenaultSport club
If you add your name in the thread then i will update the master attendance list on Page 1.

Renault UK have just confirmed they will be bringing along a 133 Cup,200 and a 250 Cup and Maybe a V6 if the Weather is nice!!

NEWS UPDATE:
Just a quick one to say we now have a Hospitality truck attending our event, basically Serving Hot/Cold Drinks and Biscuits, so a big thanks to RUK for helping sort this one out at no cost. It is the size of a 52 seater bus with a few ornings on the side so can cater for larger groups like ours. Happy Days, there is also a Caferteria in the Museum itself, but that is chargable.

Below is a Map of where we have been allocated Parking, If you come off the main road and Follow the 'RenaultSport event' Sign you head directly towards the Main Doors of the Museum, we have been given all of the Parking space tothe left hand side as you look straight forward. Plenty of parking for 100 plus cars. Just don't leave big gaps like we all do at the supermarket!!

I'm sure everyone wil treat each others cars with care. Any questions feel free to PM me, partickpebbles, Foxspeed or Meganechick.

Well unless you're meeting m8's there Josh, I shouldnt worry about what club is what.. Its a Renault Sport only meet, so you'll fit in fine with your ph1. Plenty of people there to chat to, with similar cars etc etc..

Latest update folks:
So at the last count we had over 160 cars! so looks to be an epic meet!

Heritage Motor Centre in Gaydon @ 11am
Sunday 18th April 2010

We have the use of the large carpark facilities which is enough for all of us. Its a general meet with the chance for some large scale group photos, reduced entry into the Museum (£7) if you say you are with the Renaultsport club and also occurring on the same day is the 40th Anniversary of the WCR40 World Cup Rally. so lots to see and do!

We have RenaultUK attending with a selection of their Renaultsport range and they are also bringing their hospitality truck too!

French Car magazine will be there to do a feature on the event and some pics for the first edition since the change of ownership, to be launched at FCS 2010

We have a pre-meet happening on the Saturday in which we shall be having a local drive of the roads and then off for a Curry (details on RS and MS forums and on the FB event page)

If you havent been to a meet before and dont know anyone then please bite the bullet and come along, we are all very friendly and there will be lots of new faces about

There are a number of convoys occurring across the country to get to the event so is always a nice way to get to know people and enjoy the fun of the head turning Renaultsport convoy

On the day we are all representing Renaultsport! So out of the 150 plus people there are always gonna be a few tools! If you see anyone acting like a tosspot then please feel free to tell them they're acting like one. Wheelspins, revving enginges, disrupting other Museum visitors, that kinda thing. Please treat the Heritage centre ground with abit of respect as they have let us use there car park arena for free. Anyway enough of sounding like my Dad!! Hope you all enjoy the event on Sunday, just get stuck in have a wander round the Museum, look at all the other gleaming car's and most of all socialise with other Forum member's! Thats what its all about! Looking forward to meeting some new faces and the old one's too...

By the way last count there was 179 car's down to attend!!! Great effort!!
