Repair of miniDV camcorder?

My JVC camcorder doesn't work properly anymore, it doesn't record and picture or display it on the screen, but it did come back and then go again.

I just want to know if its gonna be cheaper to buy a new one then get it fixed sorta thing. Where do you even go to get one fixed?? :S

Possibly cheaper to buy a new one. If it has gone wrong more could go wrong with it.
