yeah, i've clayed mine twice since i bought it
Get Chris to do it for you Giles, it's not fun if it's the first time around. My tailgate alone took 45 minutes.yeah, i've clayed mine twice since i bought it
cool would you show me how to clayed some day?
X12 maybe, if not more. It was quite satisfying to be honest. I love knowing that nothing is impossible, it can't be if I managed to remove and refit a 172 cat' twice....not a bad hour's work
On the list mate. It is held in place by a frame which is rivetted in place which the plate the slides into. I'm not sure where this came from but it rattles like buggery.Being dead picky, i'd replace the rear number plate. Seems to stick out a bit.

Cheers for the comments guys.
Constructive criticism is always welcome, bovine love is best kept to ones self however.Looks quality mate, job well done ignore Phil, he sleeps with cattle
It's just cut in mate with no surround. I did once contemplate an MG type rivetted surround, then I came to my senses.looking luuuush mate, clayed didnt make a lot of difference to mine, but looks like a bloody good shine on yours!!
what is the bumper cut out lined with??
jamie
Cheers bud. Watch the video, see what you think it is.is this a 1,2 our a 172 lol what ever it is its spot on cracking car the bak end is perfect
Back of the net.

But I couldn't have it looking like every other 172 with Turinis, Cup splitter and spolierNice...vee spoilers a like or dislike thing...And the 1.2 badges are a bit...hummm.

It certainly is mate, or a V6 item depending on your inclination. Hence the Silver 1.2 Trophy bit just to throw people off of the scent.love it mate, is the spoiler a trophy one?
I don't think the car has ever been clayed before. It wouldn't take anywhere near as long next time around. There appeared to be metal filings on the tailgate which had then oxidised. They took alot of hard work to remove. Are you kidding? It shouldn't take that long mate. You must be doing something wrong there.
