Replacement Fogs don’t work

Finally got round to replaceing the old corroded ones today. Put them in and didnt work. Looked and they come without bulbs (should have checked !)

So swapped over them from old fogs and still didnt work. Checked connections, fuse etc.

Too late to get new bulbs as that is all I can think it would be. Any ideas ?????

u know that thing about disconnecting the negative battery lead?, did u do that?, dunno whether it affects bulbs etc, but its just a thought m8.

Lol i had the same when i brought mine. Youd think for the price that they would be included. Make sure they are the right bulbs as i got mine from halfords and went by thier bulb guide, thy were a differnt type and wouldnt work. Take one of the old ones up with you to make sure.

you need flat style bulbs, fgs dont do them, halfords wanted £4.70 per bulb, got them in the end at cafco for £2.30 each

Didnt disconnect the battery but wouldnt have thought that would matter. Fuse isnt blown and Id of thought that would be first to go.

Cant believe the no. of times I have taken them on and off before it got dark. There are two connections and think I forgot one of them but still nothing.

Gonna get new bulbs tomorrow and connect them to the connector with the fog light off so I dont have to keep taking it off all the time.

Then got to fit my willy spoiler and pick up some centres for my phase 2 wheels b4 Donnington on sunday :0)
