After the last few weeks of Brake Calipers binding, buying new Exhausts & trying to arrange getting my Alloys Powdercoated.. My Off Side Front Suspension Spring broke at the bottom coil over the weekend!.. Bad news comes in 3's, 4's and 5's where my 182 is concerned!.
I replaced both the Front Springs a couple of years back (Car is on a '54 Plate with 34k Miles, don't suppose the absolutely SHOCKING state of the roads up my way helps things much!) and the Renault Springs were a small fortune, even back then.
Can anyone suggest a decent set of replacement Springs to go for?. I've seen the Bilstein ones, but to be honest I'm not looking to lower the Car, or change the geometry in anyway, just want a decent set of Springs that will hopefully last a bit longer than the original versions!.
If anyone has been through this same issue, or can suggest a 'straight replacement' for the original Springs it would be much appreciated!.
