Replacement jack options?

Car  172
After my supplied Jack crumpled.

I'm looking for a replacement. Loads of standard clio tool kits on eBay but having had this happen I think I might look at something else. I'm thinking of either a bottle Jack or a 2 ton scissor Jack as sold in your local halfords. Which do to think would be the better buy?

got a 2 ton hydraulic scissor jack that stays in the boot, and it dosnt do too much damage to the side sills... i dont think a bottle jack will fit under the car and they arnt that stable

Yep your right a bottle Jack will not fit underneath.

Scissor Jack it will have to be. Hopefully I can find one that will fit in spare wheel well

Trying to find one that we'll fit in wheel well is a pain in the arse. They are all too long may have to take my chances with a second hand standard one
