replacing bottom ball joints

Hi, I had a new bottom ball joint fitted yesterday, checked it today and the boot was split

I'm not paying for another fitted so i had a go myself today.

Jacked the car up, wheel off, two bolts out of wishbone then the pinch bolt and then the ball joint off.

Now here's where I'm struggling, I might be being thick, but the shock has dropped so its way too low and moved, how the hell do I line the ball joint and wishbone up?

Any help really appreciated thanks.

Just jack it up.

I did but it wasn't lining up, got apex springs, really stiff, me and dann2707 sorted it today, cheers all sorted now.

Not sure, iv got to take it back for them to have a look, its right at the bottom where it joined, looks faulty.

I fitted a new wishbone with none replaceable ball joints to my hi ace, and a year later it's fkd...

The other sides ball joints are spot on and been there over 4 years..

Some pattern parts are better than OE, some are just turd...
