Replacing "Carpet Tube" In Engine Bay!

does anyone know of / has / changed the what i can only describe as furry cardboard at the front of the engine bay?

i think its the air intake tube, but dont quote me 100%

any idea's where i look to get a rubber one greatfully appreciated
