replacing front speakers

  A well built VW

Have seen a few jbls going quite cheap cant find much about these on here anyone had experiences with these and are they any good models im looking at are GTO506ce and the JBL-P52

There are selling for under 65quid if anyone else has suggestions id like to know before i buy

Was also looking at alpines in particular the SXE-1350s and the SXS-1357 for the same sort of cash

thanx

by the looks of things you are operating on a budget

they will be better than the standard speakers, but nothing special

but between the JBL and Alpine id go for the Alpine

Any one in particular bambam dont want to spend more than £60-£70 if i can help it although i did see some DLS basic components for £85 and was tempted I know it wont make a massive difference just want it to be more enjoyable

Was going to do sub in boot but having BIG trouble persuading the trouble and strife who uses the car more than me and doesnt want anything in the boot so upgrading the standard speakers is my next choice

if you can stretch the budget ever so slightly the best in the price range are Phoenix Gold R5.0 components

should cost around £90 at most

most dealers will be able to get hold of them

or online at www.caraudiodirect.co.uk, maybe even www.cel-direct.com
