Replacing upper cambelt cover

Hi all,

I'm trying to replace the upper cambelt cover on my Trophy (threads have been damaged previously and seemed easier/cheaper to just replace the part). I have removed all of the nuts and bolts holding the cover to the engine and it's loose, but the bracket going to the alternator is in the way. Am I going to need to remove the bracket in order to get the cover off or is there any other method? If I do need to remove it, is this going to interfere with the aux belt at all?
