Respray rear quaters and roof

  Ph1 track car, Dci
Hi guys, first post, i am currently breaking a clio sport to tart up my DCi daily, im swapping the majority of it over making it a 182 rep essentially . As the body kit and panels are in good condition i am looking at just getting the rear qauters and roof sprayed to match the kit. The the dci is currently blue and the sport silver. Anyone know a rough idea on a decent price for this?

I am waiting back from a quote from a body shop and i will ring around at weekend once im not at work, but i just thought id see if anyone on here has any thoughts aswell.

Thanks for any replys.

Get the kit sprayed, there is no point in having your door shuts, doors, roof and 1/4 done, much much cheaper (and less risky, roof & 1/4's arent exactly easy to do) to have the kit refinished...............your talking 1500+ IMO for a good job on the roof , door shuts, doors, both 1/4's etc.

I'm sorry but unless that's a mate doing it in his spare time at his place of work, then it's going to be a crap job.

I'm still struggling to understand the logic behind changing the colour of a car to suit the bodykit you're fitting. Mental logic. (Or lack of)

I know it sounds mad, but the reason is i am braking the full car and the sport panels are better than the dci's anyway so may aswell swap bonnet, doors and boot too.
The paint shop guy is a mates brother so he is helping me out and i think £500 is a fair price, im aware you get what you pay for. I was just seeing what peoples thoughts were on a fair price.

normally for £500 all that sprayed , it would look like Stevie wonder has flatted it with a house brick and sprayed it with a bike pump !

A Good job IMO is circa £1500+
