Retirement...

As of midnight tonight, I'm not longer insured on the Clio, and it'll be classed as SORN. Using it as a daily, I was trying to get things sorted on it, and it wasn't going well. I was going to sell it, but I can't do it. It's worth more to me than the £4k I'd get... if that. Even if it's only a little hot hatch, it'll be staying tucked away in the garage.

Since I'll be moving into Manchester in the next few weeks, we won't need two cars, so the 182 lost out. At least it'll give me the chance to tinker with it at weekends, sorting the issues out.

It's just had it's 72k service a few weeks ago, so I took it for a final blast around the moors above us... f*cking riot, I'll miss it. It'll be SORN'd until February/March next year; so I'll have a decent period to tinker.

I can see the points about selling it, but as you owe it outright, your not loosing money buy not using it, and if we were all bothered about resale value all the time we wouldnt be driving 5,7 or 10 year old Clios! lol

Get it SORN'd, tidy it up and bring it back out when your ready, I tried this with mine, though I only mangaed 4 months before I ahd to tax it again lol.
