Retrieving data from SSD from dell mini 9

I have a dell mini 9 which has decided to stop working and am wondering if there is a USB type adapter to try and retrieve the data on the 8GB SSD hard drive?

the mini 9 SSD looks like this

i had seen this on ebay, has anyone bought or know if it would work in my case?
