retro fitting Air Con

  www.renparts.co.uk
Interesting in fitting air con to my 1.4 16v mk2 ph2. Just wondering wether its feasible. Its sure to add some value to the car (providing its factory) so was just wondering what i would need and what sort of price i could pick it up for?
thanks

expensive mate. prob cheaper to buy a clio with aircon in as youd have to buy a compressor, new heater dials with ac button, plus new belts etc (not 100%) but i brought a clio with aircon purely for that reason. a clio with aircon same spec, age etc as one without is worth about £500 more on average id say was when i bought mine anyway.

If it cost me £500 to do it then thats fine. There are plenty out there been broken for parts.. Plus it will reflect in the value of my car... Plus i love MY car that i have now... and would like it cooler in winter.. ye know?

Forget it.
The parts are say £700 then another £1~1.5k fitment if you find a despirate garage. Then you still need to get Renault to set the ecu up so thats proably an extra £500.

as above parts wont be cheap will be a pain in the ass or costly in labour you are better off selling it and buying another one with A/C fitted in it already.
