retro-fitting mirrors

was wondering what peoples thoughts would be on retro-fitting a set of automatic folding mirrors when the cars engine is turned off?if so what car would people suggest taking them from?was thinking i could just fit a switch to make them fold in if-obviously if i got the mirrors off a car that did.i could fibreglass the mirrors base plate to fit so thats not a problem.only difficult bit i suppose would be getting the adjustment to work to change the angle of the mirrors still?

so do the current meganes,wasnt sure whether wiring may be similar so itll be a bit easier?

Not sure on that one, its always best to keep it within a single make

thats what i thought,makes it a damn site easier,think it might have to look into it a bit more.
have checked renault site and the sport models had it fitted,unsure of any others

I'd not bother, folding in the mirors only takes about 2 secs. It'll be more hassle than it's worth imo.

Not all bm's do, it was a cost option on them.
