Returning to Clio ownership

  Ph2 172
So I’ve found myself wound up with another 172 after 7 years away from Renaults this time with a 172 cup that has had a lot of work carried out by the previous owner albeit not even half finished.

My first 172

Since selling my last Clio I’ve had a go at the Drift thing when i bought an SR20 powered S13 which was only ever going to end in trouble so that had to go to make way for a Mk2 Focus ST which was a brilliant car that gave zero mechanical issues for the 6 years I owned it

So the middle of 2019 I made the 1200 mile round trip with the trailer to go and view a cup that had been advertised in Scotland only to find it didn’t live up to the advert. After a wasted visit and on the way home i found what was to become my new project that was less than 100 miles away from home.
I have picked up a good little base for a track car packed with mods that can be put to good use including some Clio cup racer parts.

Looking to get it ready for a shakedown around March but still have a lot to do before that can happen
