Rev limiters don’t always work

Just cruising home from the ring, I noticed the car seemed to be moving a bit better than usual. I looked down and saw it was pulling over well over 7000RPM in top. Had to get a photograph but traffic was a bit heavier and this was all I got. Apologies for the quality, I was driving into the sun...

That was taken before I sold the car. Just stumbled across it again and thought Id share.

i think i broke the limiter on my old work places volvo! it used to limit at 5.8k or somthing like that but after a few hefty thrashes here and there it then would go right into the red line.. oh well!

you can get above the limiter if you slot it into 2nd at 80......
