reverse crunch

my car some times crunchs going into reverse.. is it because the G-B oil is low? cheers

Lower engine mount maybe? Usually has issues with 3rd as well if it is.

cheap fix if so? and before any one says it im allways stopped when i engage it.

I paid £70 and JMS Tuning for uprated mount bushes and fitting. Massive difference, not had a single crunch. My reverse and 3rd were always causing problems, once bushed replaces, changes are much smoother and engages really easily into reverse and 1st at slow speeds too.

Mine does it a lot going into reverse found out its when i am being lazy or too quick and clutch must not be in far enough normally after it has been stood all night though

if you try and get in reverse when your moving even a tiny bit it crunches and if you stop quick and try and get in gear quick it does it.

I always go into first then reverse as reverse gear has no synchros or something like that.
