reverse lights

hi guys,

when i put my car into reverse gear i have no lights. ive checked both bulbs and theyre fine, ive gone through all the fuses in car.......any ideas coz im lost?

yup, just ur standard ones......its really p*ssing me off coz i just cant think of what i can check for?

This happened on my old Fiesta and was the reverse gear sensor on the gearbox which tells the circuit that reverse has been selected and illuminates the reverse light.

Could be the same??

ive had the plastic off from around the gear box and had a look but i cant see any obvious faults down there - might be worth having another long look tho

probably reverse light switch on the gearbox, should be around the diff casing area
