I used to worry about thrashing my car. I still do. But when you think about it, if the power comes in high up the rev range then surely its designed to be revved like that. Just regularly service it and it will be fine.

He was a pleb asking if it was ok to do 110 - 140 for an hour straight on his commute. Then he posted a thread on 197.net asking why his engine blew up haha
obviously, the engines are ok for that speed, just not with a numpty at the wheel
