Do clio 172 cups sit lower than a 1.2 16v clio

i was told down the local pub that they sit 25 mm lower but not sure if its true

dont want to buy aftermarket springs as itll fudge my warranty and a mate has a set of 172 cup springs

they do sit lower yes

and i doubt those springs your mate has would fit onto your dampers mate...
