I thought it was difficult to get the RA to work in renault cars due to the UV glass.

that what i thought as i had the problem in my 182

If you look in the info booklet, it does indeed say it will struggle in renault cars.

I think it needs an extra sensor

An internal aerial works fine. Signal nott good enough and takes too long to work, without one.
