how much are the new road tax pirices on the 172/182 for 6mths n 12 mths, was £115 when i first got car for 6 mths, i have a late registered 04 plate 172. cheers

dvla are gay the phs 1 172s are like 185 a year and then the phs two are 210

thank god for loopholes for importsm i pay £185pa as my DC5 is registered as PLG, if it wasnt registered as PLG it could be as much as £400 per year or the same band as the Cliosport @ £210pa.

phase 1's were registered before march 2001 so they don't go on emisions just the engine size

I wouldn't mind paying, if the money seemed to make the roads better, some of them round me are so s**t. I sometimes feel like sending the goverment a bill for the damage the s**t roads do to my car!!

I don't mind paying the road tax, I just wish it was proportionate to the number of miles you do.

I probably use my car 60% less than I did 18 months ago yet the road tax keeps creeping up! :dapprove:
