Rocker Cover Gasket / Bolts

Hi Chaps,

Looks like my rocker cover bolts/gasket have sprung a leak.

Does anyone know the part numbers for these? Or the best place to get them?

If it's leaking from a bolt you can fix it yourself,
I had one pissing oil on mine, a little silicon under the screw head sorted it,
the leak never came back.

Ahh superb mate cheers! It's going to have to be a Saturday morning jobbie by the looks of things! Did you give it a real good tightening too? Or just pinched it down? (no homo)

Rocker cover bolts are 8nm and 12nm, but I normally do them all 12nm as suggested by a few people. Don't overdo them, they don't take much to snap.

Don't remove the cover however as they don't have cam caps, so removing the cover would mess up the timing!

If its the rocker cover gasket leaking (basically around the edges) then you'll need to get a specialist to do it, as it means having all the cambelt off (and ideally changed!).

Check the dephaser solinoid seal too, very common.

Just nip them up otherwise you'll snap the heads or strip the threads,
the silicon should stop the leak rather than tightening them to buggery.

There is no gasket. They are sealed down and hold the cams in too.
