Rocker cover seal

  Clio 182 CUP In Silver
How much am i looking at for a rocker cover seal from renault? as i seem to have a nice pool of oil sat o the inlet, is it a common problem with these?

very common, there is no gasket, its just a silicone sealant, 7 hour job to do it fella (plus new cambelt etc) if its not bad, just leave it until cambelt time, check its not leaking out the bolts, if it is that's an easy fix, remove bolt, whack in silicone, re tighten, done

Cambelt time is soonies, as its 24k and nearly 5 years, and hasnt been done yet, it looks a pig ugly job to do like but never imagined 7 hours.

7.2 is renault book time for the camblet. 4.5-5 is reality. add about 30-45 mins to remove, clean and refit the rocker cover and correctly torque all the bolts
