Rocker cover

Is it possible to take this off seperate or does it also act as a cam carrier? Car is a 172 cup.

it holds the cams down if thats what you mean and it also has a liquid gasket too just in case you didnt know

Yeah i knew about the gasket mate, just didnt know if the rocker cover had loops that the cam had to go through. Will it disturb anything if i take it off?

nope, full cambelt jobby so leave it alone.
You will f**k it up if you mess around with it and it will all end in tears if you dont have the tools for the job.

So annoying you cant take this off I do love the F4R in general though, solid engine, shame about the gearbox.

No worries, was just to give it a clean up thats all, im sure i will be able to clean it while its still bolted down

just had mine done as it was leaking so whilst having the dephaser pullie, cam belt and aux belts done i thought might as well get it done at the same time. made my wallet lighter too

I think my rocker is leaking, b**ch i cant take it off, ive jus nipped the 10mm bolts up, lets hope it seals.
