Roll cage

Anyone know were the fixing points are for a roll cage? My friend is a welder and i work at a company that buys in lots of m/s s/s and ally tube. Hopefully he is going to weld me up a cage for the Valver any one got any pics of the construction and the fixing points? Also what would be the best material to use m/s or ally powder coated or sprayed same colour as car or brushed alluminium or stainles steel. My friend is an aluminium welder soi this would be my first choice but its weaker than steel.

Dont sort of know but do know a man that does. Mark Fish -Harlow Common - Harlow, he raced Clios a couple of years ago and before that was big in the 5 GTT.

Hes got a kit that can be removed between track days (about 250 + vat + fitting), theres 6 points fixed to the chasis.

Hes also working on a couple of other bits and should have his 172 upto 230 soon (normally asperated).

If youre local to Bedford and still havent got one fitted Ill be at the Bedford autodrome 10 April on an RMA track day. Just look for the plump guy in a MK1 172.

Lewy.
